Many men have died attempting to take Ken Warby’s 34yr old World Record. The many that have perished in their pursuit did so knowing the hard facts, they are probably going to be killed.
The record is currently ratified by the Union Internationale Motonautique (UIM). With an approximate fatality rate over 85% since 1940, the record is one of the sporting world’s most hazardous competitions.
